Alvar Aalto: Architettura per Leggere – Architecture to Read (Gangemi Editore, Alvar Aalto Museum, 2003) is an exhibition book that presents Alvar Aalto’s library designs. The exhibition was toured in Italy in Ancona between 18 January and 1 February and in Rome between 6 and 23 February, 2003. The curators were Antonello Alici, Teija Isohauta, Gabriele Milelli and Giulio Petti.
The authors are Teija Isohauta, Gabriele Milelli, Esa Laaksonen, Vilhelm Helander, Markku Lahti, and Marco Pacetti.
The texts are in Italian and English. The rich illustration consists of black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
Our copy of Alvar Aalto: Architettura per Leggere – Architecture to Read is in very good condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the binding is fine. There is some slight, age-related yellowing on the upper edges of the pages, and the cover shows some minor signs of wear and use.
