Lo svolgimento stilistico di Aalto comprende, in un rapporto dall’individuo alla generazione, il primo punto di soluzione nella storia della nuova architettura: il superanmento del primo ‘razionalismo’ trova in Alvar Aalto il grande realizzatore. L’ indagine sull’opera di questo architetto finlandese può valere come tutto un capitolo della storia piû recente: da quando si sono ritenuti ancora accettabili gli impegni ‘morali’ del razionalismo, la sua aperta denuncia della necessaria, naturale destinazione sociale dell’architettura, e il suo, quasi conseguente, assunto funzionale.

The copy in our stock is still in usable condition. The pages show toning and there is a signature on the first flyleaf. The glueing of the binding is fractired and there are some fragile spreads,. The covers show shelf wear and edge wear and their printing is a bit faded.
