The two collaborated with some of the twentieth century’s leading thinkers and artist, including Frank Lloyd Wright, Cass Gilbert, Isamu Noguchi, George Nakashima, and Fernand Léger, but their prolific careers as designers in their own right – spanning many realms of design including architecture, graphics, furniture, and textiles – produced a body of truly inspiring work.
