Deconstruction – Omnibus Volume (eds. Andreas Papadakis, Catherine Cooke & Andrew Benjamin; Academy Editions, 1989) gives a full view towards the theoretically and aesthetically groundbreaking phenomenon of the 1980s architecture and design. The contents is divided into five parts: Constructivist Origins; Theory and Philosophy; Deconstruction and Art; and Deconstruction and Architecture.  The contributions are by, for instance, Jacques Derrida, Charles Jencks, Peter Eisenman, Coop Himmelblau, Zaha Hadid, James Wines, and Mark Wigley.

The text is in English. The book is richly illustrated with photographs, architectural drawings and renderings.

Our copy in stock is in good condition. The pages are a bit toned on their edges, but clean. The glueing of the binding is still fine except for the first spread where the front cover is only loosely attached. The covers show some signs of shelf wear.
