Dietrich | Untertrifalle’s architecture is committed to the site, the landscape, the village or the city and the existing fabric. the duo strives for quality in concepts, the architectural style and the design of details to ensure precision in scale and proportions. The successfully completed construction projects suited for daily use ranges from the Festspielhaus Bregenz to commercial and office buildings, as well as housing estates, single-family houses and small-scale projects such as cafés. They pioneered the first school building in Vorarlberg that complies with passive-house guidelines. They prefer locally sourced wood, while the employ materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, aluminium, copper, glass, stone and fibre cement for their buildings in an equally skilled manner.
