Herdeg: Photographe / Photographer / Photograph 1909–1953 (École des Beaux-Arts de Metz & Pro Helvetia, Metz, 1993) is an exhibition catalogue and analytical monograph of the renowned architectural photographer.  Contributions by Albert Longo, Joseph Abram, Kenneth Frampton, Joseph Rosa, and Walter Binder. The book also includes original, contemporary texts by Johannes Itten, Siegried Giedion, Christian Zervos, Hans Finsler, Wily Rotzler, and Hans Neuburg.

The texts are in German, English and French. The book is richly illustrated with black-and-white photographs.

The copy in our stock is in good condition. The pages are clean without any markings except for the stamp and signature on the first flyleaves. The glueing of the binding is fine. There is some age-related yellowing on the edges of the pages, and the covers show some shelf wear and signs of use.
