JAM: Projekte der arthropoden zur gestaltung der zukunft von James Burns (Phaidon, 1971) by American design critic Jim Burns explores contemporary avantgarde architect-artist collectives coined as “Arthropods”. The book explores works by Coop Himmelblau, Cedric Price, Superstudio, Ant Farm, Archizoom, Onyx and many other similar groups.

The text is in German. The book has been richly illustrated with black-and-white photographs and art works.

The copy in our stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is fine except for pages 3-6 which are detached. There is some age-related yellowing on the upper edges of the pages, and the covers show some shelf wear and signs of use. There’s a crossed-out signature on the first fly leaf.
