The Score
A book about architecture, organised, not by buildings but created from essays rich in imagery in five acts – People / Outside / Inside / Ideas / Protagonists;
as an interlude between plans and texts, reflections in writing by five authors:
The buildings each appear in all acts, their separated images link cross-references across the pages to a virtual whole:
in the first act, the gallery of the clients, portrayed in, in front of, next to their buildings;
in the second act the projects appear seen from the outside, complemented with insights into the plans;
in the third act the eye wanders through the inner worlds, strongly contrasted with bird view images;
a fourth act shows unrealised ideas, work in progress, depicted by competition boards and models;
the epilogue – a portfolio of the architects and their team.
