Overgang: rum i den spredte by is a Danish study about urbanism and the dispersed city and the idea of public space and landscape as a collective space.

The book contains a selection of essays and Danish translations of Michael Foucault’s “Other spaces” [Nogle andre rum], Louis Kahn’s “The room, the street and human agreement” [Værelset, gaden og overenskomsten mellem mennesker], an excerpt from Jean Baudrillard’s “The Evil Demon of Images” [Hinsides det sande og de falske eller billedets onde ånd] and Vittorio Gregotti’s “On atopia” [Om atopi]. The book has been edited by Carsten Juel-Christiansen, Sven Felding and Gilbert Hansen.
