Selected Architectural Details is an undated issue of the Progressive Architecture (p/a) journal, presumably from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The issue presents various building details with a black&white photograph and relevant detail drawings. There are 12 sections that cover ceilings & roofs, courts & terraces, desks & counters, display units, fireplaces, solar control devices, stairs & railings, storage units, wall sections, window walls, detailing for modular measure, and miscellaneous details. Section 11 – Designing for modular measure – contains an article by William Demarest titled “Modular measure – the working tool for modular assembly” which was also published in Progressive Architecture in November 1957.

The project examples in the p/a Selected Architectural Details are located in the U.S. and they present various types of building from libraries and churches to houses, office buildings and commercial premises.

The copy in stock is still completely usable, but it has lost its back cover and along with it, probably also a couple of its last pages.
