Takenaka – A Book of Buildings is a photographic monograph of the Japanese design and construction firm Takenaka Corporation and their architectural production between 1965 and 1993. The book contains a short preface written by Renzo Piano and architectural photographs in black-and-white taken by Yukio Yoshimura. There are also concise descriptions of the presented buildings and a short corporate history of Takenaka. The presented portfolio includes, for example, the Tokyo National Theatre (1966), MOA Museum of Art in Shizuoka (1981), offices, hotels, sports facilities and so forth.
