Truth Against the World – Frank Lloyd Wright Speaks for an Organic Architecture is a portrait of Frank Lloyd Wright (1867–1957) as a public speaker. The book contains a comprehensive collection of Wright’s most important speeches and interviews during his 70-year career to diverse audiences – high school and college students, architects, engineers, business executives, and society matrons. The book has been compiled by Patrick J. Meehan and it was published by The Preservation Press in 1987; our copy is the 1992 printing.

The contents have been organised thematically in nine parts: Introduction, Organic Architecture and Some Elements; The Machine and Architectural Production; In the Cause of Improving the Human Condition; Honors, Awards, and medals; the Truth About Education; Democracy; Broadacre City; and the Architecture of a Free Democratic Government. The name of the book – Truth Agains the World – comes from the motto represented by the Druid symbol of the Lloyd-Jones family. The book has been illustrated with architectural and archive photographs in black-and-white.
