Arkitekten Arne Jacobsen (Arkitektens Förlag, 1957, 2nd edition) by Johan Pedersen is a beautiful, richly illustrated monograph in Danish. the book explains Arne Jacobsen’s relevance to contemporary architecture, and showcases his main works from the 1930s until late 1950s.
There are many ways of creating. This is the most beautiful of them: life – play – ease. Other ways, e.g. through sufferings, deep thoughts, and fighting may lead to high ends, but this sunny, happy way into the land of Promise is one of great charm and beauty.

The text is in Danish, but there is an English summary as an appendix. The images consist of both black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
The copy in our stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the binding is fine. There is some age-related yellow toning on the edges of the pages, but they are clean and there are no tears or anything. The dust jacket is edge worn and has a couple of tears.
