Tilaus- ja toimitusehdot

Voimassa 1.1.2025 alkaen. Päivitetty Suomen alennettu ALV-kanta 10 %:sta 14 %:iin. Korotettu toimitushintaa Suomeen nykyistä kustannustasoa vastaavaksi. Täsmennetty tilausten toimitusaikaa.

Yleiset ehdot

  1. Verkkokaupan tuotteiden vastuullinen myyjä on Bookmarchitecture Oy, y-tunnus 2768620-9. Bookmarchitecture Oy:n kotipaikka on Helsinki, Suomi. ALV-tunnuksemme on FI27686209; EORI-numeromme on FI2768620-9.
  2. Myymme tuotteita yli 18-vuotiaille yksityishenkilöille kaikkialle maailmaan (poislukien Venäjä ja Valko-Venäjä) sekä EU- ja UK-alueella myös ALV-rekisteröityneille yrityksille.
  3. Tilaus sitoo asiakasta, kun asiakas on lähettänyt tilauksen internetsivujen välityksellä (Place Order). Tilaus sitoo Bookmarchitecture Oy:ta, kun Bookmarchitecture Oy on vahvistanut tilauksen asiakkaan antamaan sähköpostiosoitteeseen.

Maksaminen

  1. Verkkokaupan maksuvälityspalvelujen toteuttajat ovat Viva Payment Services Single Member S.A. (Viva Payments) sekä PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (R.C.S. Luxembourg B 118 349).
  2. Tarjolla on myös ennakkomaksuvaihtoehto eli voit maksaa tilauksesi suoraan Holvi-tilillemme (Bookmarchitecture Oy, IBAN FI32 7997 7997 7387 99, BIC HOLVFIHH). Jos valitset ennakkomaksuvaihtoehdon, tilauksella on 7 vrk maksuaikaa. Postitamme tilatut tuotteet heti, kun maksu näkyy tilillämme. Jos maksusuoritus ei saavu tilillemme 7 vrk:n kuluessa, tilaus raukeaa ja tilatut tuotteet palautuvat Bookmarchitecture Oy:n hallintaan ja omistukseen. Asiakas vastaa tilausmaksun maksamisesta aiheutuvista kuluista.
  3. Asiakas on velvollinen selvittämään, että hänen tilaamansa tuotteet on mahdollista ja laillista toimittaa annettuun toimitusosoitteeseen.
  4. Bookmarchitecture Oy pidättää oikeuden tuotteiden hintojen ja toimitusmaksujen muutoksiin.

Arvonlisävero

  1. Käytettyjen kirjojen hinnat eivät sisällä vähennettävää arvonlisäveroa (ALV 0 %). Sovellamme käytettyihin kirjoihin marginaaliveromenettelyä.
  2. Uusien kirjojen, muiden kuin kirjatuotteiden sekä toimitus- ja postituspalveluiden ja muun palvelumyynnin osalta sovellamme 1.7.2021 alkaen uutta EU:n arvonlisäverotuksen erityisjärjestelmää (One Stop Shop). Hinnat sisältävät arvonlisäveron, jonka suuruus määräytyy toimitusmaan voimassaolevan arvonlisäveron mukaisesti (Suomessa kirjat 14%, muut 25.5 %). 
  3. Isossa-Britanniassa sijaitsevat yksityisasiakkaat ovat velvollisia selvittämään paikalliset arvonlisäverot ja tullauskulut tilauksensa maahantuonnin yhteydessä.
  4. EU-alueella ja Isossa-Britanniassa sijaitsevien yritysasiakkaidemme tilauksiin ei sisällytetä arvonlisäveroa (ALV 0%); sovellamme näihin tilauksiin käännettyä verovelvollisuutta. Edellytyksenä on, että asiakas antaa ALV-numeronsa tilauksen yhteydessä.
  5. Jos toimitusosoite sijaitsee Ahvenanmaalla tai Euroopan talousalueen ulkopuolella, ALV on 0 %.

Tuotteiden toimitus

  1. Tilaukseen loppusummaan lisätään toimitusmaksu. EU-alueella toimitusmaksuun vaikuttaa toimitusmaan yleisen verokannan mukainen ALV.
  2. Toimituskumppanimme on Shipit Oy. Käytämme Matkahuollon, DB Schenkerin, UPS:n ja Postin kuljetuspalveluita paketeillemme.
  3. Yhden tilauksen maksimipaino on 15 kg.
  4. Toimitusmaksumme (ALV 0%) ovat seuraavat:
    • Tilauksen nouto (Local pickup) Helsingin kivijalkakaupastamme: 0 €.
    • Manner-Suomi: 5,66 € (7,10 € sis ALV) per tilaus noutopisteeseen. Ilmainen toimitus yli 100,00 €:n tilauksille.
    • Europe 0: Ruotsi, Tanska, Viro, Latvia, Liettua: noutopisteeseen 10,20 € (alle 5 kg); yli 5 kg ks. Europe 1.
    • Europe 1: Ahvenanmaa, Alankomaat, Belgia, Bulgaria, Irlanti, Italia, Itävalta, Kreikka, Kroatia, Kypros, Malta, Monaco, Ranska, Saksa, Puola, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tšekki, Unkari: 15,60 € per tilaus alle 3 kg; 3–5 kg 22,40 €; 5–10 kg 42,50 €; 10–15 kg 82,40 €.
    • Europe 2: Norja, Islanti, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Sveitsi, Andorra, Iso-Britannia: 33,60 € per tilaus alle 3 kg; 3–5 kg 45,70 €; 5–10 kg 62,80 €, 10–15 kg 90,20€.
    • Global: 38,80 € per tilaus alle 3 kg; 3–5 kg: 67,20 €; 5–10 kg 97,70 €; 10–15 kg: 158,00 €.
  5. Toimitamme tilaukset kuljetukseen pääsääntöisesti keskiviikosta lauantaihin, niin ripeästi kuin suinkin, poikkeuksena pyhäpäivät ja lomatauot. Lähetämme sekä tilausvahvistuksen että kuittauksen tilauksen toimittamisesta asiakkaalle hänen antamaansa sähköpostiosoitteeseen.
  6. Lähetämme kaikki lähetykset seurantakoodillisena pakettina. Lähetykset lähetetään vakuuttamattomina.
  7. Asiakas vastaa mahdollisista tullaus- yms. maahantuontiin liittyvistä kuluista.

Palautusoikeus

  1. Tilatuilla tuotteilla on Suomen kuluttajasuojalain mukainen 14 päivän palautusoikeus. Määräaika lasketaan siitä, kun asiakas on vastaanottanut tilaamansa tuotteet.
  2. Tuotteet on palautettava siinä kunnossa, jossa ne ovat saapuneet asiakkaalle.
  3. Asiakas maksaa palautuksen postikulut.
  4. Jos asiakas haluaa palauttaa tilaamansa tuotteet, asiakkaan on otettava viivyttelemättä yhteyttä osoitteeseen bookmarchitect@bookm-ark.fi niin annamme tarkemmat palautusohjeet.
  5. Noudettavat tilaukset (Local pickup) katsotaan peruutetuiksi, jos tilausta ei ole noudettu 14 päivän kuluessa tilauspäivästä tai ellei muuta ole sovittu.

Terms and Conditions

Effective from 1 January 2025. Updates regarding the change of Finland’s reduced VAT rate from 10% to 14%, our shipping fee to mainland Finland in line with increased shipping costs, and our service time for processing orders.

 

General terms

  1. The liable seller is Bookmarchitecture Ltd, business ID 2768620-9. Bookmarchitecture Ltd is registered in Helsinki, Finland. Our VAT number is FI27686209; our EORI number is FI2768620-9.
  2. We trade with private individuals over 18 years globally (excluding Russia and Belarus) and also with VAT registered businesses in the EU or the UK tax areas.
  3. The customer is subject to a binding sales agreement with Bookmarchitecture Ltd when the customer has sent his or her order (Place Order). Bookmarchitecture Ltd has reached a binding sales agreement with the customer when it has sent a confirmation of purchase to the email address provided by the customer.

Payments

  1. Our payment facilitators are Viva Payment Services Single Member S.A. (Viva Payments) and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (R.C.S. Luxembourg B 118 349).
  2. We also offer an advance payment option (Direct Bank Transfer) so that you can pay your order directly to our account in Holvi (Bookmarchitecture Oy, IBAN FI32 7997 7997 7387 99, BIC HOLVFIHH). If you choose the advance payment option, the payment is due in 7 days from the date of order. We will ship the ordered goods as soon as the payment clears in our account. If no payment is received within the 7-day timeframe, the sales agreement becomes void and the ordered items return to the full ownership of Bookmarchitecture Ltd. The customer is liable for all expenses caused by the payment.
  3. The customer is liable to check in advance that it is legal and possible to deliver the ordered goods to the customer’s shipping address.
  4. Bookmarchitecture Ltd reserves the right to make changes to our prices and shipping costs.

VAT policy

  1. The prices of our used books do not contain any deductible VAT (zero rated VAT) because we apply the margin scheme.
  2. As regards new books, other merchandise and services, we apply the new EU VAT legislation and the One Stop Shop service to our sales with our EU customers outside Finland (the EU VAT rules for cross-border business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce). In this case, the prices contain VAT according to the customer’s shipping location (in Finland for books reduced VAT 14 %; standard VAT 25.5 %).
  3. As regards our private customers located in the UK, the customer is liable for local VAT and customs rules on importation of the shipment into Great Britain.
  4. As regards our business customers registered in the EU or UK tax area (business to business sales to EU or UK VAT-registered customers), we do not charge any VAT, but apply reverse charge. The prerequisite is that the customer gives their VAT number in their customer information.
  5. If the customer’s shipping address is on the Åland Islands or outside the European Economic Area EEA, VAT is 0 %.

Shipping

  1. The prices are exclusive of shipping costs. The final shipping costs within the EU area are affected by local standard VAT rate and calculated at the Checkout according to the customer’s shipping location.
  2. Our shipping service provider is Shipit Oy. We use Matkahuolto, DB Schenker, UPS, and Posti transport services for our parcels.
  3. Maximum parcel weight is 15 kg per order.
  4. Our shipping fees are the following (VAT 0% except for shipments in Finland):
    • Local pickup from our shop in Helsinki: 0€.
    • Mainland Finland: 5.66€ (7,10€ incl. VAT) per order. Free shipping for orders over 100.00€.
    • Europe 0: Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania: 10.20€ to a pickup point (under 5 kg); over 5 kg please see Europe 1.
    • Europe 1: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Åland Islands: 15.60€ per order under 3 kg; 3–5 kg 22.40€; 5–10 kg 42.50€; 10–15 kg 82.40€.
    • Europe 2: Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain: 33.80€ per order under 3 kg; 3–5 kg 45.70€; 5–10 kg 62.80€, 10–15 kg 90.20€.
    • Global: 38.80€ per order under 3 kg; 3–5 kg: 67.20€; 5–10 kg 97.70€; 10–15 kg: 158.00€.
  5. We process and ship the orders as a rule from Wednesdays to Saturdays, as soon as possible, but with the exception of national holidays and our holiday breaks. We send a confirmation of purchase and a notification of shipment to the email address provided by the customer.
  6. We use tracking in all our parcels. The shipments are sent without any insurance. 
  7. The customer is liable for any import duties or other fees that might be placed on the shipment by the destination country. 

Return policy

  1. As ruled by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, the customer has the right to cancel and return her or his order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
  2. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they were at the point of reception.
  3. The consumer must cover all delivery costs for the return.
  4. Should you wish to cancel your order or return your purchase, send a notice without delay to bookmarchitect@bookm-ark.fi and we will provide you with further information.
  5. Local pickup orders are regarded as cancelled if the order has not been picked up within 14 days from the time of the order or unless otherwise agreed.
