Kieckens is a Belgian architect whose diverse and theoretically intriguing office profile has been widely published and exhibited.

The book was produced at the occasion of the exhibition in Galerij S65 in Aalst, Belgium on display in 1993. It presents some theoretical themes and showcases a set of projects by Kieckens from the early 1990s.  The projects are mostly small interventions: furniture design, renovations, new facades and extensions. The images consist of black-and-white diagrams and architectural drawings and both black-and-white and colour photographs. The texts are in Dutch and English.
