Handmade Houses – A Guide to the Woodbutcher’s Art (A & W Visual Library, 1973) by Art Boericke and photographer Barry Shapiro presents examples of self-built, low-budget wooden houses, sheds, tree houses and other constructions from the 1970s. The examples are from the US, but the text reveals no details of their builders or actual locations.
The text is in English. The book is richly illustrated with colour photographs of the houses and their interiors.
Our copy in stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean, no markings except for the small inscription on the first flyleaf. There is some toning on the edges of the pages. The glueing of the binding is firm. The covers have some traces of shelf wear and use.
