This Le Corbusier Studio Paperback is the German and French edition of the popular monograph of Swiss-born architect Le Corbusier (1887–1965). Le Corbusier expressed his wish already in the 1960s that he would like to see the publication of a budget-friendly edition of his architectural legacy.
The book presents highlights from the whole career of Le Corbusier Studio from the Do-mi-no house of 1914 to the Museum of the 20th Century project in Nanterre dated 1965. The book consists mostly of black & white architectural photographs and some architectural drawings that have been explained with concise captions. The book also contains Le Corbusier’s biography and lists of his main publications and projects.
The copy in stock is in nice, tidy condition. The pages show some yellowing on the edges, but the covers and the binding are in a very good shape.
