Sauna Studies (The Finnish Sauna Society, 1976) contains the proceedings of the VI International Sauna Congress held in Helsinki, Finland, in 1974. The contents have been thematised into five main themes: Planning and Building the Sauna; Sauna Technology; Sauna and Sports; Medical Sauna Studies; and Sauna and the Psyche. The contributors come from all over the world, and the papers deal a variety of sauna research from sauna construction in Austria to the use of sauna as therapeutic treatment.
The copy in stock is in good condition. The binding is fine, the pages are clean, and the covers show only some shelf wear. There are inscriptions on the first two pages.
