Sert – Arquitecto en Nueva York (eds. Xavier Costa and Guido Hartray; Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, 1997) presents architectural works and ideas of Josep Lluís Sert (1902–1983), an architect and urbanist, during his exile years from 1939 to mid-1950s in New York, US. The book focuses especially on the collaboration between Sert, Fernand Léger, and Sigfried Giedion. The book was published in conjunction with an exhibition with the same title.
The text is in Catalan and partly English. The book is richly illustrated with black-and-white photos and architectural drawings.
