Takenaka – A Book of Buildings is a photographic monograph of the Japanese design and construction firm Takenaka Corporation and their architectural production between 1965 and 1993. The book contains a short preface written by Renzo Piano and architectural photographs in black-and-white taken by Yukio Yoshimura. There are also concise descriptions of the presented buildings and a short corporate history of Takenaka. The presented portfolio includes, for example, the Tokyo National Theatre (1966), MOA Museum of Art in Shizuoka (1981), offices, hotels, sports facilities and so forth.
Our copy in stock is in very good condition. There are no significant faults or damages, only some slight shelf wear on the covers. The front flyleaf has been stamped by the previous owner.
