It is the purpose of this book to analyse [the] ‘language of architecture’ in the hope that such an analysis may make a contribution to a more effective approach to architectural problems, an approach which will not only incorporate experience and intuition, but which will replace superstition by conscious knowledge based on scientific research.

Our copy in stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean, no markings except for the previous owner’s signature on the first flyleaf. There is some toning on the edges of the pages. The glueing of the binding is fine. The covers show some signs of edge wear, shelf wear, and use.
