The Prodigious Builders – Notes towards a natural history of architecture with special regard to those species that are traditionally neglected or downright ignored (Secker & Warburg 1977) by Bernard Rudofsky is a follow-up to Rudofsky’s world-famous exhibition and book Architecture Without Architects (1964). In The Prodigious Builders, Rudofsky looks at global examples of ingenious pre-technological alternatives to modern building.

The text is in English. The book is profusely with black-and-white photographs.

Our copy in stock is in good condition. The pages are clean, no markings except for the previous owner’s signature on the first flyleaf. The binding is fine.  The dust jacket shows only some small traces of shelf wear. There is an old price sticker on the back cover.
