Vienna, Architecture – The State of the Art IV / Vienne, Architecture – L’état des choses IV presents the architectural highlights in Vienna, Austria, in English and in French. The publication was published by the Vienna City Planning Bureau in 2003. The book is the 4th updated edition in the series “Vienna, Architecture – The State of the Art” which provides an overview of the latest architectural developments in the city.
When a city becomes a museum, it runs the danger of lagging behind internationally and of losing out in the competition between metropolises. Current developments in capital cities demonstrate that architecture and urban planning are factors in this competition.
The texts are in English and French. The rich illustration consists of photographs, architectural drawings, renderings and other presentation material.
Our copy in stock is in very good condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is fine. There is only some slight, age-related yellowing on the upper edges of the pages and some minor signs of shelf wear and use on the covers.
