Adolf Loos: Huis voor : House for : Maison pour : Haus für Josephine Baker by Paul Groenendijk & Piet Vollaard (Uitgeverij 010 Rotterdam, 1985) presents the design history of the private house for JosephineBaker, the world-known American-born French entertainer, commissioned from Adolf Loos in 1928. The book has been published in the series Architectuurmodellen 7 / Architectural Models 7 / Modèles D’architecture 7 / Architekturmodelle 7, so it also contains a DIY set with which you can build your own scale model in cardboard.
The texts are in Dutch, English, French and German.
The copy in our stock is in good condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is fine. There is some age-related yellowing on the upper edges of the pages, and the covers show some shelf wear and signs of use. The colours printed on the covers and spine are somewhat faded, and there is a couple of small coffee stains, and an earlier price sticker.
