Alvar Aalto: Maison Louis Carré is a French-speaking monograph about the prestigious house designed by Alvar and Elissa Aalto for the Parisian art collector Louis Carré in 1963. The book has been produced by the Alvar Aalto Academy and the Alvar Aalto Museum.
The richly illustrated book tells about the history of the Maison Louis Carré design project and showcases its architectural principles both indoors and in the garden. The introduction is by William J. R. Curtis, and the articles have been written by Esa Laaksonen and Ásdís Ólafsdóttir. The book also contains an interview with Louis Carré by Irmeline Lebeer conducted on 24 July 1967. The illustrations consist of architectural drawings, sketches, photographs as well as private archive material.
