Architecture and Technology: Alvar Aalto’s Paimio Sanatorium, by Marianna Heikinheimo (Aalto University, 2016), is a doctoral thesis that examines the various agencies at play in architectural production. The case study presented here is the Paimio Sanatorium, designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto, which was completed in 1933.
