Kirmo Mikkola’s Architecture in Finland in the 20th Century (Finnish-American Cultural Institute, 1981) gives a concise introduction to Finnish modernism. Mikkola covers the developments from National Romanticism to early postmodernism.
The text is in English. The book is illustrated with both colour and black-and-white photographs.
Our copy currently in stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean without any markings except for the previous owner’s signature on the first flyleaf. The glueing of the binding is still fine. The covers have some signs of shelf wear and use, and there is an old price sticker on the back cover.
