Architecture Today by Charles Jencks (Harry N. Abrams Inc. 1982) is the first edition of Jencks’s international survey documenting the state of contemporary architecture – here, at the beginning of the 1980s. The selection covers all building types from all over the world such as corporate headquarters, private homes, housing projects, churches, museums, and cultural centres.
The text is in English. The book is profusely illustrated with photographs and architectural drawings.
Our copy in stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean, no markings, only some slight toning. There are some small and light pencil markings on the first flyleaf. The binding is fine. The dust jacket has a film coating that has partly peeled off and wrinkled, but otherwise the dust jacket is fine. There is an old price sticker on the back cover.
