A+U No.295 April 1995: Juha Leiviskä (A+U Publishing Co, 1995) is a rarely available theme issue about the great Finnish architect and his works and projects such as the Vallila Library and Day Nursery in Helsinki and the unrealised Helsinki Museum of Modern Art competition entry. The review article is by Michael Webb, and the architect introduction is by Toshio Nakamura. The April issue also contains an article by Tadao Ando titled “The city as public domain relating” to the Great Hanshin Earthquake that took place on 17 January 1995.

Texts are in English and Japanese. Leiviskä’s projects are beautifully illustrated with photographs and architectural drawings.

Our copy in stock is in good condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the binding is fine. The covers show only some minuscule signs of shelf wear and use; the red cover printed on the spine is faded.
