Bauhaus Journal 1926–1931 is a facsimile edition that contains 14 complete issues of the Bauhaus Journal published periodically by the Bauhaus school of architecture between 1926 and 1931. The chief editors of the journal were Walter Gropius, Lazlo Moholy-Nagy and later Hannes Meyer and the Bauhaus faculty.
This facsimile edition contains the exact replicas of the 14 issues. The issues contain contributions by Josef Albers, Walter Gropius, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, László Moholy-Nagy, Oskar Schlemmer, Herbert Bayer, Marcel Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Gerrit Rietveld and many more. The edition comes with and a booklet that contains an overview of the content, an English translation of all texts, and Astrid Bähr’s scholarly essay which places the journal in its historical context.
