The book opens with an introduction about countryside living for urban dwellers written by Sandra Hofmeister, the editor, and there is also an essay about the history of living in the country by Jakob Schoof, the editor of Detail. The texts are in German and English.
The copy in stock is in very good condition. The covers show some wear especially on the edges where the white cover layer is slightly stained. The pages are clean, however, and the binding has no faults whatsoever.
