Bewohnte Nature: Architektur, Topographie, Landschaft – Living with Nature: Architecture, Topography, Landscape is an Edition Detail book about contemporary countryside living. The book showcases cutting-edge private houses where the natural setting has been heeded in an exceptionally mindful and architecturally interesting way.
The presented projects are one-family-houses from all over the world and by widely published offices such as Tegnestuen Vandkunsten, ACME, and Tham & Videgård Arkitekter. The book opens with an introduction about countryside living for urban dwellers written by Sandra Hofmeister, the editor, and there is also an essay about the history of living in the country by Jakob Schoof, the editor of Detail. The texts are in German and English.
The copy in stock is in very good condition. The covers show some wear especially on the edges where the white cover layer is slightly stained. The pages are clean, however, and the binding has no faults whatsoever.
