Ich baue: Der Architekt Alvar Aalto in Wolfsburg (Joh. Heinr. Meyer Verlag, 2000) showcases Alvar Aalto’s three projects in Wolfsburg, Germany: Alvar-Aalto-Kulturhaus, Heilig-Geist-Kirche and Stephanuskirche. The book contains contributions by Holger Pump-Uhlmann, Dieter Quiram, Ortwin Reichold, Reinhard Roseneck, Nicole Schneider, Klaus-Jörg Siegfried, Werner Strauss, and Hannes Thorhauer.
The book was published in conjunction with an exhibition about Alvar Aalto in Wolfsburg. The exhibition was on display at the Alvar-Aalto-Kulturhaus (Wolfsburg Cultural Centre) between 20 May and 27 October 2000.

The book has mostly German text, but a part of the articles are also in English. The book has been richly illustrated with high-quality images such as colour and black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
The copy in our stock is in very good condition. There are no visible faults whatsoever except for some almost invisible yellowing on the upper edges of the pages and a tiny fault in the glueing in the corner of the first endpaper.
