Katsura Imperial Villa (ed. Virginia Ponciroli; Electa Architecture, 2005) is a spectacular book on the historic Kyoto building and its interpretations by five world-renowned architects. The book presents the villa with photographs and architectural drawings, as well as writings, sketches, and notes by Arata Isozaki, Manfred Speidel, Bruno Taut, Walter Gropius, Kenzo Tange, and Francesco Dal Co. The new photographs are by Yoshiharu Matsumura.
Our copy in stock is in good condition. The pages are clean, no markings. The glueing of the binding is firm. The covers show some small traces of shelf wear and use.
