Lexikon der Weltarchitektur, by Nikolaus Pevsner, Hugh Honour, and John Fleming (Prestel Verlag 1966/1987), is a hefty German encyclopedia of architecture. The volume has 2760 keywords and 3088 illustrations covering 846 architects, 76 style concepts, 51 country-specific articles, 811 technical terms, and 116 building types.
The text is in German. The book is richly illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
Our copy is in good condition. The pages are clean; no markings except for the previous owner institution’s small stamp and some small pencil markings on the first flyleaf. The binding is fine. The dust jacket is fine and shows only minor edge wear, shelf wear, and use.
