Modern Architecture and Design: An Alternative History by Bill Risebero (The Herbert Press 1982) traces relevant developments in architecture through informative drawings.
This book, a companion to the author’s very successful first work The Story of Western Architecture, traces the history of modern architecture, together with relevant developments in design and technology, from the early 19th century to the present day. Bill Risebero relates a wide variety of attractive and informative drawings to a narrative which combines fact, description and analysis.
