Modern Finnish Design, by Ulf Hård af Segerstad (Weidenfeld & Nicolson 1968), showcases the best and most celebrated design objects from Finland’s golden era. The book is divided into two parts: an extensive essay on Finland’s cultural history and design ideology, and illustrations of individual products.

The text is in English. The book is profusely illustrated with photographs, both in colour and in black-and-white.

Our current copy is in nice condition. The pages are clean; no markings except for the previous owner’s signature on the first flyleaf. There is some toning on the edges of the pages. The glueing of the binding is fine. The covers show signs of use and have some stains and toning as well as slight edge wear.
