René Magritte and the contemporary art – René Magritte en de hedendaagse kunst (Museum voor moderne Kunst Oostende 1998) explores Magritte’s profound influence on other contemporary artists. Contributions by Willy Van den Bussche, Michel Baudson, Christine Vuegen, and Pierre Sterckx. The book was published in conjunction with an exhibition between 4 April and 28 June 1998 at Museum of Modern Art in Oostende.
The text is in English and Dutch. The book is lavishly illustrated photographs and art images.
