Snøhetta Works (Lars Müller Publishers 2009) is an exhibition book that showcases all the key works by the internationally acclaimed Norwegian practice. Contributions by Bart Lootsma, Thure Erik Lund, and Ingerid Helsing Almaas. The book was published in collaboration with The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Norway for a major exhibition in 2010.
Working with conditions of architecture, landscape, interiors, and planning within one studio for twenty years, Snøhetta remains committed to a transdisciplinary approach to design. Social and environmental conditions are key considerations on the minds of all who work in the company (…) The wide range of projects that Snøhetta has amassed describes a commitment that goes beyond everyday notions of work. The collaborative spirit infiltrates all aspects of the office culture and extends to those with whom Snøhetta works. This book sets forth an intriguing glimpse into the inner workings of one of today’s most mercurial practices.
