Space Design SD Jan & Feb 1977 / 149: Aalto (ed. Aiko Hasegava; Kajima Institute Publishing, 1977) is a theme issue dedicated to architect Alvar Aalto. The issue presents Aalto’s life’s work as an architect and designer, and presents all his key works and designs.
The text is in Japanese and English. The issue’s project presentations and articles are illustrated with photographs and architectural drawings.
Our copy is in relatively good condition. The pages are clean; no markings except for the previous owner’s signature on the first page. There is some toning on the edges of the pages. The glueing of the binding shows some first signs of drying, but the volume is still in one solid piece. The covers show some usual signs of shelf wear, edge wear, and use.
