Stav og laft i Norge (Byggekunst; Norske Arkitekterners Landsforbund, 1969) by Christian Norberg-Schulz and Gunnar Bugge presents early wooden architecture in Norway.
This book is the first comprehensive work on the folk-architecture of Norway. The authors have selected about 60 representative examples, illustrating the different types of farms, farm houses and stave-churches, and have treated the historical and artistic development in a general introduction.
