Aurelio Galfetti (Ernst & Sohn 1989) is a catalogue of the work of the Swiss architect Aurelio Galfetti. Texts by Mario Botta and Mirko Zardini.
This catalogue of the work of the architect Aurelio Galfetti, born in Lugano in 1936, brings together in chronological sequence the projects from 1960 to 1988. During this considerable period Galfetti’s architecture has been widely disseminated, being published in the leading international magazines. By way of introduction to the present volume, Mario Botta and Mirko Zardini -both architects- offer their comments and reflections on particular projects. The Rotalinti house and the restoration of the Castelgrande, to mention two examples of Galfetti’s work in Bellinzona, or his recent scheme for the Opera in Paris, are amongst the projects presented and commented on in this book.
