Guide to Modern Buildings in London 1965–75 by Charles McKean and Tom Jestico (Academy Editions, 1976) is a handy guidebook that introduces a wide variety of newest London architecture of the early 1970s. The book is composed of the main guide, a supplementary list of buildings, travel notes and maps. The presentations of the buildings include standard details about the designer, address info and even public transport. There are even eight pre-planned trails that guides the reader to explore the neighbourhoods around the Greater London area.
The text is in English. The book has been illustrated with black-and-white photographs and maps.
The copy in our stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is fine. There is some age-related yellowing on the pages, and the covers show shelf wear and signs of use.
