Compiled by Heinz Ronner, Sharad Jahveri and Alessandro Vasella for the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture, The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, the book gives an extensive documentation of Louis I. Kahn’s work. The book includes the biographical details of Louis I. Kahn and the indexed works in chronolological order including the city planning and housing studies and the bicentennial projects 1976 in Philadelhpia, USA . There is also a list of bibliography about Kahn (relevant for the publication year 1977).

The book has an exceptional, longitudinal form and catalogue-like layout design. The text is in English; the book is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.

Our copy in stock is in good condition for its age. There are a couple of notes marked on the pages, and the pages show some yellowing. The cloth-bound covers are in nice condition, although they have some slight signs of use. The binding is fine. There is a slight odor of an old house.
