Masters of World Architecture (George Braziller, 1960) is a series of concise monographs on the most influential modernist architects of the early 20th century. Each volume gives an introduction to the architect’s life and career and presents the key points in their architectural thinking. The architectural oeuvre is presented in black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings on separate image plates.
The books have been issued in both softcover and hardcover editions, in English and German. Please see our current selection in the product variations.
Unless otherwise stated, our current copies are in nice condition. The pages are clean; no markings except that some copies may have the previous owner’s signature on the first flyleaf. The glueing of the binding is dry and may a bit fractured, but the folio is still in one piece. The covers show signs of toning, shelf wear, edge wear, and use.
