Mies van der Rohe: Less is More, by Werner Blaser (Waser Verlag, 1986), is a comprehensive exhibition book celebrating Mies van der Rohe’s centennial. The exhibition was organised by the Municipality of Aachen in 1986. The book presents all Mies’s major works within the context of his life and career, and discusses his relevance in the development of 20th-century architecture.
The text is in both English and German. The book is profusely illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
Our current copy is in good condition. The pages are clean, with no markings. The glueing of the binding is fine. The covers show minor traces of shelf wear and use, as well as slight edge wear.
