According to the foreword, the 2004 Timber Prize received 151 entries. In choosing the winner, the jury’s main criterion architectural quality rather than wood quantity. The nominees showcased in this book vary from private houses and weekend cottages to large public buildings. The winner in 2004 was the Universeum exhibition complex in Gothenburg, designed by Gert Wingårdh and Wingårdh Arkitekturkontor AB.
The copy in stock is in nice condition. The edges of the pages show some yellowing and dust stains. The front endpaper also shows sone remains of a sticker.
