Twentieth-Century Masters: Gropius (Hamlyn 1973) is a well-known monograph of Walter Gropius (1883–1969), the father of modern design and the founder of Bauhaus. The book is part of Hamlyn’s prestigious Twentieth-Century Masters series about the leading architects and artists of the Modern era. The book has been edited by Alberto Busignani and H. L. Jaffé.

Twentieth-Century Masters: Gropius tells the story of Gropius’s life and career, from his pioneering Fagus Works of 1911 until his mature achievements in Berlin of the late 1960s. The book is richly illustrated with architectural drawings and photographs both in black-and-white and colour.
