Van der Vlugt Architect 1894–1936 (Delftse Universitaire Pres, 1984) is a rarely available monograph of the early Rotterdam modernist. The book has been compiled by Jeroen Geurst and Joris Molenaar. The book consists of an introduction and full project presentations including the Unesco World Heritage site of Van Nelle factory. There is also a list of Van der Vlugt’s complete work catalogue.
The text is in Dutch. The book is richly illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
Our copy in stock is in nice condition. the pages are clean, although a tad toned on their edges. The glueing of the binding is intact. The covers show signs of edge wear and use, and the upper corner of the front cover has been bent.
