Olivetti & Co, 1968) features 20th-century development of British architecture and especially the brutalist movement of the 1960s. Contributions by Mario Bottero, Henri-Russell Hitchcock, Michael Gold, Francesco Tentori, James Stirling, Joseph Rykwert, Lisa Marsoni, Maria Biasia, John Taylor, Bianca B. Raboni, Giorgio Gaetani, Alberto Ferrari, and Renzo Zorzi. One of the highlights is James Stirling’s lecture titled ‘Anti-Structure’ given at Bologna University in November 1966.
The text is in Italian and English. The issue is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings.
The copy in our stock is in nice condition. The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is still fine although fragile. There is some age-related toning on the pages, and the covers show shelf wear and signs of use. The colours printed on the covers and spine are somewhat faded.
