Arkitektur i Sverige – Architecture in Sweden 1984–89 is a monograph of postmodern developments in Swedish architecture. The book has been compiled by Olof Hultin and it was published by Arkitektur Förlag in 1989 in collaboration with the National Association of Swedish Architects.
The book presents 120 examples from all over Sweden that display the new directions in Swedish architectural thinking. Each project has been given one page: the project presentations consist of black&white photographs, a couple of architectural drawings such as the site plan and the floor plan, the basic information of the project and the team, and a short description. Architecture in Sweden 1984–89 also contains Olof Hultin’s comprehensive introduction and a foreword by Kerstin Westerlund, the contemporary Chairman of the National Association of Swedish Architects. The texts are in Swedish and English.
